I believe, that when you lose someone, heaven rejoices because they have come home. When I lost my mom 2 years ago, to a brief but aggressive bout of cancer, I prayed one prayer...that she be healed. With all of my heart, I believe that she was healed...in the best way possible for her.
Trust me, it really is not fun to go through something like this, and I have awful days. BUT I also have really great days, where I am just beaming because my mom is 100% healed, and with God.
If you didn't know my mom, she was hilarious, loved to dance, loved to cook and eat, and enjoyed a night out with her friends. She was so full of life, and truly didn't care what other people thought. I wish so much I was like her in that way. She was just Jerri. All of the time.
She was a mom, sister, aunt, daughter, and friend- and she was so good at loving all of us.
If you don't know the whole story, check it out here. My mom made me a better woman, and loved me so much. At times, I have to admit, I took her love for granted. Try to never do that to your parents and love the heck out of them, because someday #spoileralert....you won't be able to- at least here on earth.
